Markus Alexej "Notch" Persson is a Swedish computer programmer who is the creator of Minecraft. He has been the lead developer of the game until eventually passing ownership to Jens "Jeb" Bergensten.
The Minecraft PlayStation editions are being developed by 4J Studios instead similarly to the Xbox edition.
